The Sliding Slinger is a repeating sling shot with magazine capable of 40+ 10mm (9.56mm) stainless steel balls.

The mechanism uses a sliding rail with the tension bands attached between two sets of “wings” and is drawn back much like a standard bow and held in that position until the ball is released with the use of the thumb trigger similar to releasing a compound bow.

The string catch mechanism is designed to capture the ball directly behind the string and is a direct adaption from the Sling Hammer design by Dondipper. (top idea mate)

The initial design was also adapted from a plywood design created by Joerg Sprave (The Slingshot Channel), so I have both to thank for those clever designs.

The length of this beast is around 600mm printed in half sections (for longitudinal strength) to fit a 300mm build plate with the front extension keyed into main section, some glue may be required for certai
