Sliding Trickle Vent

The old vent above my PVC door is poorly designed and it is always “Open”, allowing too much cold air to be drafted inside and lowering our indoor temperature and cost us more to heat up. So I came up with this design, the purpose is to have a better trickle vent and I can slide it to close during the cold weather and re-open it when weather is warm. Because I don't have TPU so it is not air-tight between the gap, but it largely reduce the flow of the cold air. If you have TPU, please consider print a gasket using the slider as model (like 2-4 mm on z-level) this will allow a better insulation. The temperature indoor before was 16-17 Celsius and with both trickle vent closed, now it can reach 19 Celsius constantly, even when outside is -5 Celsius.
