Over two decades ago, IKEA made these small wooden easels (see the photo) that were great for photo frames, and other artwork with a flat profile. Unfortunately, IKEA no longer makes them, so I measured up the one I had and recreated it for 3D printing. You will need 100mm of string, or a flexible filament to keep this from opening too far. There are holes in the crossbar and the middle leg to accommodate whatever you choose to use. To assemble: Print all the parts, thread the center leg through the pivot rod, then place the rod into the holes in the top of the left and right leg. Next, place the crossbar into the holes on the lower half of the left and right legs. Finally, add whatever you are going to use to strap the crossbar to the center leg and tie knots in both ends to keep it in place. You can use some hot glue in both holes if you need to. That's it; you're all done. I hope you find this useful.
