This is a small sanding block that uses magnets to secure the paper in place.
I find it comfortable to hold and a great size for most detail work.
I printed several of these and loaded each with different grit sandpaper.
It works OK without magnets too using friction to hold together but it is better with them.
Magnets:
4 - 10mm x 3mm or 10mm x 4mm neodymium magnets
(There is also an stl file included with no holes for magnets so you can add your own)
Sand paper:
~115mm x 30mm strips
Cutting a standard 230mm x 90mm (9" x 2 2/3") sheet into 6 pieces will result in the correct size (see images)
Assembly:
Remove supports. I use a very small amount of hot glue to help secure the magnets. Super glue doesn't seem to work as well. Be sure to align the magnets correctly before gluing.
