Smart 451 Mounting Wedge

This is a series of plates I made to mount a USB plug in my 2015 Smart ForTwo 451.

Wedge 1 is the piece that slides into the slot and has a release tab. It also has three beveled screw recesses. Print this flat as you see it, no supports needed.

Wedge 2 goes next, and has a slot to allow the release tab to move into to release the piece.

You can print this upright without supports, or if you print it upside down with supports you can graft on your own design.

Wedge 3 is simply a spacer or build plate that you can graft your design onto. Beware the need to leave a space for hex nuts for the screws to engage.

*On Wedge 2 or 3, you can downsize the holes if you want to use self-tapping screws instead of hex nuts.

USB plug housing is a piece I made that would take the place of Wedge 3. It holds a generic dual USB plug found on Amazon.
