I easily forget whether I’ve taken my daily pill or not and end up either doubling up or missing out. This device illuminates my chosen color of LEDs until the bottle is removed and replaced. It will then wait 18 hours then turn back on. It uses an FSR to detect the bottles weight and an Adafruit QTPY RP2040 to control it all. My post on reddit gained enough traction and requests to make a how to so here it is! The included print profile used an AMS, Protopasta clear PLA filament and Bambu sparkle PLA. If you do not have an AMS or support filament I recommend printing the Support Bridge right side up with supports enabled. You will need:Adafruit QTPY RP2040Adafruit Alpha MF01A-N-221-A0124 LED NeoPixel RingSuitable USB-C 5V power adapter (2A recommended if using max brightness, 1A is plenty as configured in this post)An empty (lightest/worst case scenario) pill bottle for testingThese FilesMu Editor (or other CircuitPython editor)22 gauge or larger wire Print models provided and remove
