The purpose of the these hubs is to provide a simple, lightweight, and inexpensive solution to mounting .5" thick foam wheels.
Foam wheels should fit snugly over the hub. They work without glue in a 1lb but feel free to glue the wheel to the hub if you think it's necessary.
The hub will then press fit onto your 3mm d-shaft. Some slight expanding/contracting of the shaft hole my necessary to ensure a tight (yet removable) fit.
