Snake Head

I made this to scare away the squirrels that keep digging up my garden and chewing on my tomatoes. The body in the picture is a broken plug that's had its head cut off. The cable has an 8 mm diameter so I made the hole in the back of the head 8.4 mm. I don't expect most people to have a cable exactly that size so I've uploaded my 123D Design file and an X3D version so you can customize the size of the hole.The red and yellow stripes are just electrical tape and the pattern is similar to that found on the highly poisonous coral snake. (Although if you want it to be more accurate the yellow must be thin stripes on either side of a fat red stripe.)

The snake seems to be working pretty well at keeping the squirrels away from my garden but I've been moving it around and changing the body position a lot. If you don't do that they'll figure out pretty quickly that it's not real and go back to tearing up your garden.
