This is a model of a cube, designed to snap together with identical models. I teach isometric drawing, and wanted a large scale version of snap cubes that I could use in front of the class. This model takes a 1/8 turn to lock together, and will not come apart unless purposefully unlocked. the cube model is hollow, so it takes less infill than you would think. You can print with or without supports. When printing with tree supports, it will only support the very top edges of the side receivers. Without supports, the model still prints fine, but it takes a few times of locking/unlock each cube to grind it away smooth on the overhang. So you will want to prep it before classroom use by clocking/unlocking it multiple times to make the action smooth. You will also want to make sure your bridging is working well, as when printing without support, the bottom receiver bridges the gap. Again, it still works perfectly, but it's not as pretty.
