This spool has a a ton of notches, hook keeps, and magnets to accommodate however you want to store your line, on the rod or off, wound from either direction, hook on or off. The design allows the foam inside to be seen from all angles helping to keep it visible when you inevitable set it some where, or letting you color code by line type, length, etc. if that's your thing. Parts:2 - Top/Bottom pieces1 - SpindleFoam Disc 63mm x 8mm (I use 4x 2mm thick discs - see included template for sizing) 8 - 6mm x 2mm magnetsAssemblyPrint PartsCut FoamSnap the spindle into the bottom, make sure to align the notches on the bottom and the spool. It takes a bit of force to snap them together.Add foam to the spindle and snap the top on, it squeezes the foam and is a tight fit.Glue magnets into the holes on the top and bottom if you desire.
