Snapmaker Laser Focus Tool

I created this little stand so I wouldn't have to refocus my laser every time I change material. I cut this little stand from the 1.5mm wood from the Snapmaker store. Once I had my focus set I extended the stand between the top of the etching surface and the bottom of the laser housing. Then I glued it together and can now use it for every engraving. I just set it on the surface to be engraved and lower the housing to touch the top of the stand and the focus is set with no additional adjustment.
