Snapmaker U1 Top Enclosure – 1/5 Scale PrototypeThis is a 1/5 scaled version of the top enclosure designed for the Snapmaker U1. The full-size version is currently in development and will undergo final adjustments once the U1 unit arrives for precise fitment and testing.The top plate is engineered to use 4 mm × 3 mm heated inserts and 3 mm countersunk screws for a clean, secure assembly. Along the bottom edges, the design accommodates 8 mm × 3 mm neodymium magnets—you’ll need 16 magnets total to complete the build.This enclosure is ideal for makers who want a clean, modular, and secure top cover for their U1 setup. The scaled prototype allows for fit checks, printing tests, and early customization before full-scale production.
