I love Sergei's ball joint model. It prints easily and snaps together well. Best of all, it's in openSCAD.

So I extended it into a robot.

The robot adds a few pieces--a torso, head, and feet. Print off a bunch of the original ball joint models and you get a customizable snap-together robot toy.

For the pictured robot:
- 1 torso
- 1 head
- 2 feet
- 6 ball joints

Bonus: a plate and t-bar that I use to mount a webcam--also based on the ball joint.

How would you customize your robot?
