Hey all, I recently was browsing Youtube and came across a video by SmarterEveryDay. In it he discussed the science behind pulley systems, and how they distribute force to make work easier, all with the help of some 3D printed parts used in demonstration. Of note in this video was a love letter to the jack of all pulleys, the Snatch Block! There was a link to their pulley designs listed in the description (I'll put it at the bottom of this description), which are all fantastic, but I ran into some problems.
1. I use a resin printer, an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro to be exact, so the wheels needed to be fixed as they were modelled hollow (something I discovered after I printed the first pair in clear resin). Simple enough, I drilled out some holes in Chitubox to allow the resin to drain and saved it as a new .stl file. It is included in this download as a standalone file, unsupported, all one needs to do is put it in their favorite slicer, flip it to the obligatory 45-degree angle, raise it s
