# Make your own voice assistant
Ever wanted to get rid of Google Home or Alexa?
With [SNIPS](https://snips.ai/) you can create your own "Voice Assistant" which runs in your own home without calling to outside servers to understand you.

This is the case for a Snips Satellite which can listen to you in other rooms while the main unit sits somewhere in the living room.

There are 2 versions of the case. One when you use it with a normal Raspi Power supply with the cable connecting to the Pi. The other one if you want to use a USB Power Dongle and directly solder the connections to the bottom of the Pi.
