New Version:
V9 : 3D snowflakes, better textflake algorithm. (1/1/2021)
V8 : Original version (deleted) (12/25/2020)
Another Snowflake generator based on OpenSCad, but this one pulls out all the stops. Besides the basic parameters like size, thickness, and random seeds, there are over 35 parameters that you can twiddle with (5 sided snowflakes anyone?), generating billions of billions of unique shapes, There's also an experimental 'textFlake' mode where you can make designs out of short text string(). Finally, it can generate 3D snowflakes constructed from multiple 2D flakes generated together.
By default, it can generate hanger holes on the snowflakes, It's also able to fill your build plate with an entire blizzard of different flakes an the same run.
Given the fun of this is generating the flakes to begin with, it doesn't make sense to provide any .stl files. Rather, only the OpenSCad .scad file is provided. I did try to group and document the parameters so that
