Snowflake

Snowflake was created using BlocksCAD and I found the software simple and fun to learn. The object is intended to be hung from a tree, window or any location (this was the reason for including the torus so a string can be tied to it). The snowflake itself is a single print and supports/rafts will need to be enabled. I enjoyed using BlocksCAD and think it is a smart implementation aligning well with other block coding softwares such as scratch and makeblock. The actual code is really one shape (a line and an X) which is repeatedly rendered on X and Y axis.
Although this project contains a screenshot of the blocks utilized I also think it is great that BlocksCAD allows the ability to open other projects and remix the objects. I would recommend anyone interested to open the snowflakex.xml file in BlocksCAD and build upon what I put together.
