Soap Box

Hello all,

Made this and printed it on my Bambulab A1 Mini using tree supports and original parameters for infill and speed.

You'll need :
1x soapbox_container
1x soapbox_lid
2x hinge_rod
2x hinge_rod_end

The holes at the back of the holder are there to hold the box with suction cups on a shower wall fx.

The hinge rods are made to have a tight clearance with the lid and be loose in the holder. You might need to use a tiny bit of force to push the rods in.
The hinge rod ends I used super glue to fix to the hinge rods.
I made the snap fit by trial and error using successive attempts and it works well because of the tight fit in the hinge, which prevents having too much wiggle room.

The slope at the bottom of the container is there to allow water to evacuate when the box is stored upright and open.

I made the box to fit a big soap of ~90x60x30mm so smaller soaps fit.
