I have created a couple of soap dishes. All soap dishes have lips on the sides to prevent the soap slipping off to the side of the dish. I have also made the dishes taper toward the center or toward a lip[ that would prevent the soap from slipping off. Additionally, the drainage all slopes to one end meaning the water can drain back into the bath or sink.
