socket for IN-8 nixie tube

I needed some sockets for a nixie clock. It is hard to get the tubes but it's even harder to get the sockets. So i had to build them by myself. The first sockets i made were from pertinax on a lathe. Alot of work and not so good loking. The next thing are the kontacts. So i designed this socket and used kontacts made by molex: series KK part number 4809C-P914L / 0850-0032 you can also install a 3mm LED of desired light color in the middle of the socket so the tube gets a backlight. To get an idea what iam talking about there is a pic for it :)A thread and a nut will help to install the socket in to the housing. Since Nixies will not get warm it is ok to use ABS for the socket. An amp tube or similar with an heating filament will most likeley melt the ABS socket.
