Soft Clamp for Pipe Bender

This is a soft holding clamp sleeve for a 6-10 mm pipe bender.

While bending thin walled copper pipes, like vapor heat pipes, the standard holding clamp did not do a great job. So I 3D scanned the part and designed a sleeve that fits over the clamp and helps to support the pipe better. Adding a M3 threaded hole in the clamp made it possible to securely fixate the sleeve. If the sleeve is to tight around the pipes, use a heated rod/drill-bit to form the grooves to match.

This sleeve is made to fit the *388-3684* by *RS PRO*, but might fit other similar pipe benders.

Source code (.stp & .3dm) is also provided, should you want to modify the design for your own purpose. Please share your prints!
