These parts will enable you to make an inexpensive lifter for a pool solar cover Inspired by the Solar Roller, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbGdJjayvTw.

You will also need some 32mm solvent weld pipe, 32mm solvent weld straight coupler and 32mm solvent weld 90deg bend; and some solvent.

Make a Z-shaped handle from 3 short lengths of pipe, 2 90 degree bends and the straight coupler.

Cut a straight length of pipe the width of you cover, for a circular cover this should be a diameter.

Insert the straight length of pipe into the straight coupler on the handle (do not glue the parts together).

Using the drill guide (print 2 parts), drill a 6mm hole through the coupler and pipe simultaneously.

Insert the spring clip in to the pipe so the pins protrude through the holes. You can now clip the handle on and press the pins down to detach it.

Attach the solar cover to the pipe, I used a series of car exterior trim clips (from eBay).

To lift the cover, rotate the handle
