Solar System Elem

This THING shows an introductory model of the solar system. This project is used to give students an introduction to 3-D printing using TinkerCad. This will be used in conjunction with our solar system unit and displayed in school's front office area.
It includes the Sun, planets, and must meet a certain number of guidelines.

Our 3-D model will include drag and drop series of 1/2 spheres, resize, explore print time, filament use, and how to arrange for increased efficiency. We will also look at the model in different views to get the feel of how to modify a model.
