I just bought myself a Solarmeter but really disliked the flimsy leather case that it came with as it offered little or no protection to the sensor if you were to drop it.
I've designed this case for it which requires 8 small magnets to be lightly tapped into the holes in the design. I used a drop of superglue on each one to ensure it didn't fall out. Just make sure to fit the magnets the right way around! I've put a screenshot of an eBay listing to show the correct size of magnet to use.
There's about 0.5mm clearance all around the Solarmeter so it won't rattle around inside and there is a cutout all around the sensor to ensure it doesn't touch the inside of the case at all. The button is also protected and can't be pressed while in the case.
The case took about 8 hours and the lid took about 1.5 hours to print. Both print with the open ends upwards with no need for any support.
