solder feeder pen

If you do a lot of soldering. then you may like this handy tool, hold it like a pen and turn the little wheel near the tip to feed the wire as needed .
The Build...
print plastic parts,
glue the spool together
you can glue the main body parts ( optional)
go to auto store or hardware store and get 3 ( 3mm x 30 nut and screw and a piece of rubber hose approx 6mm os diameter and 3mm inside diameter
cut the rubber hose slightly shorter than the plastic gears ,
insert the gear into the rubber pieces.
and attach the to rubber wheels ( gears) in the front. one of the wheels has lateral movement to allow for different size solder and to allow better pressure when feeding the solder.
now attach spool to end with one of the nut/screws.
to load it push solder into the front of the pen until it comes out the back, then wind the spool until it is full,
