I designed this to help holding wires while soldering. I found online that I liked but something common about them I did not was they liked to move around. So I designed this one so you can fill it up with sand, dirt, salt, etc. This makes the stand much heavier so it is much less likely to move. I have tested with 10 gauge and smaller.
