The spring guard I've used has 0.625 OD but is not necessary for the iron to be held in.

Solder holder has hole in the center that fits 3D printer Teflon tube tube to be pushed in for solder wire to got through.

12/20/20 Added modified heat pen stand for bigger heat gun.
