Somua S35

History: A French medium tank, the Somua S35 was revolutionary for its time yet underrated in its performance. Like the British Matilda, the Somua S35 was heavily armored, so much so that it gave German panzer crews a decent run for their money. Ultimately, poor deployment and weak battlefield presence led to a swift German invasion and the takeover of France. As a testament to its true combat effectiveness, the Germans later converted several captured Somua S35s for use in its own armored divisions.

Notes: 1:100 scale Somua S35 model is a remix of m_bergman's. Now includes updates (i.e. amended track treads, minor geometry re-shaping, complete crew tools, accessories, radio antenna, etc.) for easier print and historical accuracy.
