Sonicare Button Repair

The button on our Sonicare no longer worked reliably. It took so much pressure I thought I'd break my thumb. Rather than throw the toothbrush away, I designed this part to make the button work again.

When searching online for a solution to this problem I saw a recommendation to put hot glue on the back of the button. But I was concerned that the hot glue would be difficult to place correctly, and likely to fall off inside the toothbrush. I designed this to be used instead of the hot glue approach.

This part was designed for the Sonicare Hx6930. I don't know if it will work for other models.
