Sony Action Cam Mount

This is a mount for a Sony Action Camera, model HDR-AS20 but may suit other models with the same form factor. The mount has provisions for standard camera ¼”-20 threaded nuts on the side, top and bottom. There are cut-outs for the screen, microphone jack and the micro-usb port. The Camera is a firm slip-fit into the shell and hasn’t needed any retaining for use in my racecar, putting up with vibrations and g-force, however a ¼” bolt could be used in one of the spare mounting holes to tighten against the camera as a clamp. The mount has proven to be much more rigid than the Sony cage mount, resulting in improved video quality.
