The idea to somehow make my room sound more dead, haunted me for years until I found the solution through 3D printing. I came up with this hexagonal tile design which can be indefinitely expanded in any size. The tiles fit into the build space of a first generation bambu printer (except A1 mini). The height is 50mm and it is designed to be filled with an 40mm acoustic foam of you choice (I use basotect). A one-layer screen is also included that fits exactly in the tile and can be used to mark the cutout shape of the foam. The screen give also the possibility to use the thing as something completely different, like a lamp. You can print it in translucent PETG or since it is just one layer, any colorful combination should work just fine. Have fun!
