SOVOL SV02 DD Mod

Summary My take on a DD mod for the Sovol SV02 printer, reusing the standard extruders and steppers. This was originally based on a design that no longer seems to be on here by Daniel Garrett. There are two versions. Both include BL Touch mounts, with the only difference being the height of the BL touch, one for the standard heater block and nozzle, one if you're replaced the heater block and nozzle with a Mk style block. Print Settings Printer: Sovol SV02 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Infill: 100% Filament: Any PLA(+) Any Notes: I used auto supports, 10% fill above 60%, but I use IdeaMaker and have solid base layers and infill outlines enabled so inherently IdeaMaker's supports are stronger. You might need to tinker with the settings. My supports just snapped off clean. Post-Printing Assembly For the best result you will need to drill a small hole into the left front of the mounting plate to accommodate a screw / bolt and nut.
