A cruiser is the class of ship between a destroyer and a battle ship. Large enough to count as the mainstay of a more backwater system these ship pack a punch as well as have enough armor to hold out in the center of battle.
(Not sure why the thing view has it pointed up, its not supposed to be.)
Just a thing I decided to make in Inventor 2014. Thought it was cool enough to upload here. Its not incredibly complex but the individual turrets on it are quite small. If you blow it up to a large size it should be fine. If you print this you will probably need supports on it.

Its a pretty close copy, just not intended for the same use (If space combat was a thing) Just wanted to see what I could make from the example.
EDIT: just added it cut in half, should be able to print it with supports with relative ease.
