Spacer for Ceiling Mount LED

When we remodeled our house, we chose to use some LED lights from one of the big box stores in the US. The light has metal braces that clip into a metal bracket. The metal bracket then attaches to the junction box. Some of the old work junction boxes were not allowing these lights to attach properly to their brackets to sit even with the ceiling. This spacer adds a 3mm gap between the old work ceiling/junction box and the bracket allowing the metal braces/tabs to properly attach to the bracket. I have included pictures of the light I am using, the old work junction box and this spacer. I believe the make of this light is Utilitech but I am unable to find any brand markings on the light itself. I hope this helps someone else.
