Sphenodon Type R

This equipment is primarily designed for reconnaissance and offers two optional configurations: AEWACS and COBRA. The limbs are equipped with APS, and surrounding each APS unit are 10 soft-kill launchers and 10 hard-kill launchers for self-defense.

When operating in AEWACS mode, the crew informally refers to it as “CH-CH.” The exact reason comes from the questionable sense of humor of one of the original developers, who was later dismissed. However, since this former developer had already labeled it as “CH-CH” across various documents, the nickname has remained and is widely recognized among the crew.
