This is a remix of another project by matthiasm https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:585
I did make a few miner modifications to simplify a few things like using small bearings instead of the friction nylon pivots for the servos, removing the need for machining parts, aside from the parts list the rest can be printed and easily assembled.
I spent countless hours creating the 3d parts from the dxf files provided by matthiasm i also printed and tested all the parts as i built my spider.
this project is not for the beginner, you should consider the cost of the parts required as well as the time and patients required when assembling the project, all printed parts must be well trimmed and printed on a well tuned machine making sure the thickness of all the parts are 3mm with a tolerance of +0.08mm -0.0mm.
all parts should be trimmed and cleaned to allow a nice sliding fit with minimal force. any forced fits will eventually result in cracks or splits when using PLA material.
