This is my Spider Spool! It’s a replacement for Bambu Lab spools of filament, and it has a spiderweb design because… I like Halloween.
In any case, right now, for Bambu Lab’s basic filaments, a roll of filament with a spool is three USD more than a roll without. And given the fact that the official spool is quite literally just a piece of plastic, you’re not losing any functionality if you use this one instead!
May as well print it out and save yourself a few bucks each time you want to buy a new roll, y’know? I recommend printing the first few layers with the filament you want to spool on it, and then using a cheap filament to print the rest and save money (info on how to do that in the included spool changer link down below).
Just like a Bambu Lab spool, it comes with:
A notch to line up with the cardboard core to prevent slipping
Periodic holes around the edge to insert the filament tail to prevent tangling (with even more holes than the official one!)
An ovular flat spot to place
