MultiMaterial 2D spiderman logo.
"Designed" (OK, I traced) in fusion 360
Made to test the manual multimaterial method from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3278326 . Designed to print multiple colors for the first 3 layers (at .2mm layer height).
You can see my successful print in the photos. One note, note mentioned in the original post about this multicolor technique, about how the filaments are ordered: Slic3r starts at the first extruder you specify, goes in order for any extruders in that layer. Then it starts the next layer, and continues with whatever filament it is currently printing (to minimize swaps). After that, it goes back to the first extruder and prints in order again. So, in my case, I had my filaments ordered black > red > white in slic3r, and the swap order was black > red > white > black > red > black > white > red .
