This version is for bank fishing, I separated the parts to make them easier to print. I used a #12 flat head machined screw to hold the base to the bottom rod and two #10 machine screws to hold the holder to the base, I tighten the bottom rod, but not enough for it not to turn to adjust for each cast.. The holder part is the only part that needs supports to print. The ring on the original post did not work for my rod and reel, so I put a slot in the end cap to hold my rod if left unattended. With the end of the rod just against the end cap, just yank up to set the hook and remove from the holder at the same time. The metal rod that goes into the ground is a electrical fence post from Atwoods for $3.50 that I cut off to be a good height for my chair. i used a heat gun to heat the bottom rod to help it go onto the metal rod. I have included the Design Spark model file so the parts can be edited if needed.
