Split Decision Maze Box

"Split Decision": Possibly the world's most obnoxious puzzle box!
Inspired by the "A-Mazing Box" by wizard23 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1481), this box is a challenge for serious puzzle solvers. You may think it looks like a simple maze, but it's far from it. . . there are tricks and false paths; one wrong turn and you can get completely lost. . . I have provided a picture of the closed box in case anyone thinks it's not solvable. There are two separate challenges, one of which is to get the box closed, and the other of which is to get it open. Neither challenge is easy! You have been warned. The solution is revealed in the PDF file in the downloads. Don't peek!
