Splitting STLs / Meshes

Not really a "thing". More a picture dump I can point at when people are asking for this. ;)

I often do combine different components inside single stl files. If you're looking for a way to separate them, here's some ways I can think of. There's probably a gazillion ways of doing this... and lots of other tools... ^^

Cura: Not sure, but I think they had something like that in Cura but removed it years ago (v2.x)...

This is about separating different meshes inside a single stl file, not about splitting a
single mesh itself (like using "plane cut" features in some programs).
