This is a tool for measuring spoke tension, used when building bicycle wheels or adjusting them etc.

For construction you will need:
3x - M4x28mm screws
1x - M3x28mm screw
1x - M3 washer

1x - Spring. Im using a spring which has 12mm free length, OD ~6.7mm and wire thickness of 1mm. Closest i could find on the net: https://www.compressionspring.com/pc037-266-8500-sst-0500-c-n-in.html?unit_measure=me

And finally, you will need a dial indicator, im using Mitutoyo No. 2047F.

Optionally you can add brass inserts for the M3 screw as well as the center 'pin' M4.

For printing I would recommend PLA as its quite stiff, use more perimeters for more strength - for example 5 outer shells with 0.4mm nozzle is a good start.

There are 2 STLs included, one for each handle. Also a STEP file if you want to change the design.

Enjoy :)
