Spool Counter-weight

This is a spool weight to keep a nearly empty spool from getting pulled off a bearing holder like THIS.

I know there is no real standard size for spool, but this one will work with the ones I use.
The body is 55mm diameter and can span up to a 90mm wide spool.

I filled mine with some beads that were lying around to give it a weight of just over 230g
Once I am happy with the weight I will likely glue the bottom on.

The top can be easily removed and put back on for installation if needed. I added the non-spin lug to the top in case it wanted to turn during use, there by loosening the bolt. Not sure it was needed but better safe then sorry :)
