Spool for cables or light strings

This is a simple 2-part spool that snaps together. I wanted something to help keep my holiday light strings more organized. The strand in the photograph is 300 lights and about 80 feet long. You could probably use this for other flexible materials like rope or even extension cords.

The assembled spool pieces fit together pretty securely (I printed at 0.2mm). You could easily glue them together to ensure they don't come apart.

I designed this to maximize the print area on my Prusa M3KS+ but ended up having to scale it down slightly to account for the skirt/outline. 205mm worked beautifully. You could certainly scale this up or down to match your printer or if you wanted a bigger or smaller spool.
