This is a custom adapter to have a spool be a stand-alone unit, no case necessary It is designed for the ROBO R1+, and is meant to hold the spool in a center-balanced position.

I recommend using some rubber on the bottom to help stabilize it, or the spool holder will slide. I used some "rubber feet" from the bottom of an old laptop and they are working perfectly.
