After building the Stackable Freestanding Filament Rack (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2948330) using 3/4" EMT galvanized conduit and sitting it next to my printer, I extended the top bars to extend above my printer and designed a spool holder using 608 bearings. This allows me to move the weight of the spool off the top of the frame of my printer and gives me ample locations for mounting multiple spool holders above the printer.
You'll need to print 4 each of the ConduitSpoolRoller per spool. I used 5/16" x 1" bolts for the bearings and #8 x 1/2" bolts for the clamps tighteners. I also created the ConduitEndClamp to put on the end basically just to keep the conduit from rotating since my conduit could rotate. The conduit is snug in the rack frame, but I am able to rotate them by hand which the end clamp prevents.
I printed the clamps upside down, however you will need a brim because the one leg of the roller bearing clamp does not have much contact with the bed.
