Spool Holder (Low Drag)

I wanted a very low drag spool holder for printing TPU, I noticed some of the smaller diameter spool reels would restrict the movement of the spools. So I built this one, with a large diameter reel and bearings. So far it works flawlessly. Unfortunately the reels need support, and lots of it. I have not tried printing it small side down. I print mine hollow side down.

Spool diameter is 53mm (2.1in)
Spool width is 81mm (3.2in)

Requires (2) 608 Skate bearings
