I have the Ender 3 V3 Plus and I did not want the light to be mounted on the top... way to far to be able to see what is happening on the bed... I had a small regular strip light bar, so I found a small spool adapter and added a slightly longer inner tube to get some grip (30mm total), then I did a separate sleeve to slide in and pass my light bar into the side mount spool I have printed for my printer (the light back insert can still go inside but I am relocating my spool on the top instead but will keep the mount on the side like in the picture here below. The insert is also 30mm and I have the outside diameter on the first one at 19.99mm and it fit just a tad loose inside the adapter so I can turn it and direct my light where I want it... the light bar fit nicely snug without being too tight.- the first version wall on the side of the light was too thin so it got printed in four small parts... I used PETG to sustain the heat from a light bar (PLA not good with heat) so I printed it with a brim... I kept a small part of that brim to hold the parts together and also as a stopper so the insert does not have a tendency to come out the tube when I push the light bar through...- I went back into the CAD program and increased the outer diameter of the insert ("NEW" version), which maybe, is big enough for some walls to be created but I have not tried it but did add it in case someone wanted it... I would still print it with a brim and keep a small amount of it just in case...I could have "molded" the insert with the spool adapter, but that would have been more complicated the find the "right" angle for my light to shine exactly where I wanted it... the insert also fit in the standard spool holder that came with my printer.(p.s.: since the first insert was not fully done but working for me, I had deleted my previous file but someone asked about it so I put it back up with the "NEW" insert so someone can try it and see if working "better" - I just don't need to re-print it
