Spool Reuse Wall light system

Don’t fear the Hexagon! Have you needed a more natural awesome wall decoration, without the unsightly hexagons everywhere! Welcome to the most excellent world of designer circles! Here you can help recycle and save the planet while totally decorating your walls in any style you want! This project is centered around minimal use of printed materials, while reusing the cardboard spool parts. However I have included a printable spool model for temporary use, or for during your design work you need an extra spool center. I have tried to model quite a few different types of covers to get you started on your decoration journey, but I include in the print project, and as two fusion 360 models a base cover that you can easily just add your own design to. The connectors are designed to allow you freedom to connect at many angles while still providing moderately strong connectivity between spools.
