Yet another filament spool stand, but this time with little part count, very rigid and no high quality printing results needed to make this work.
If you prefer, you could also just put an M8 rod through instead of the printed axle (~110mm for 2 M8 nuts).
Parts needed:
4x 608 bearings (7x22x8, height x outer diameter x inner diameter)
You could also try to print those bearings if you wish.
Assembly:
The bearings should get all of the existing grease cleaned out and replaced with some light oil for less resistance, as this is a light load scenario for such bearings.
The bearings can then be pushed into the tubes, some force will most likely be needed.
After that, one of the tubes can be put in between two of the holes for mounting through which the rods can then be pushed. Pay attention that you put them into the correct side as it won't work otherwise. Use the pictures as guidance. It might be easier to push one half at a time through.
